"Resizing a shot of a
building with leaves around it is crystal clear using Transformer.
Transformer blows away the alternatives, where results are like looking
through dirty glasses. It's amazing!"

Convert your 2K Plus to non-linear for in-context grading
- Conform, transform, grade and deliver in real-time
- Powered by da Vinci exclusive Transformer for real-time sizing and rotation
of highest quality unmatched by all competitive products
Splice
is da Vinci’s newest product, introduced in April 2006. Used to
access and transform grading material in non-linear order, Splice is
a standalone product that elevates the tools of a telecine suite to a
next-generation workflow.
With Splice at the front end of a 2K or 2K Plus, facilities can be more
efficient in timely project completion with multiple workstations
accessing material simultaneously. Film is spared from excessive
handling as the need to load and reload reels is eliminated.
Splice users can browse, select and play images directly from a LAN, SAN, or local storage. With this direct access, iterative workflows are possible with minimal resulting time impacts.
A 2K combined with Splice maintains compatability with existing facility infrastructure such as telecines, VTRs and DDRs. Existing equipment is revitalized by the benefits of a nonlinear workflow, ensuring that colorists con continue using their 2K systems for many years to come. The 2K investment is leveraged for an extended lifetime during transition to a non-linear workflow, and when the facility is at ease with the workflow, changing to da Vinci’s Resolve is a breeze.
